I don’t reckon you’ll find a better belt or a better craftsman. The workmanship on this belt is second to none and the quality is palpable. I had no idea what was involved in making a belt like this, but Muzz made sure that at every point I understood the decisions he was making so he could customise the belt on my behalf. The result is by far the best belt I’ve ever owned.
I’ve always loved hand-made, vintage or western inspired belts, and I’ve always been drawn to the widest belt on the rack. This belt is more of everything. I love the 2 inch width and the extra heavy solid brass buckle – there is no missing that its a substantial belt, but somehow I feel like I finally have a belt in proportion to my body. While it has plenty of show about it, its understated and stylish too. If you are going to have a black belt, make it big, brassy and very very black! I’m very happy with the result.
I originally bought the belt for its looks and I wasn’t prepared for how comfortable a wider belt would feel. The combination of the extra heavy full grain cowhide and the 2 inch width makes wearing a wide belt noticeably more secure and comfortable than any belt I’ve worn. I can’t imagine this belt bending or deforming under the pressure of doing its job, so its easy to imagine it will outlast any belt I’ve owned.
I originally bought this belt thinking it would be great for special occasions, but I can see its destined to be my go to belt. The whole experience has been a pleasure. Many thanks, Muzz!
